Washington Wizards vs. Detroit Pistons Game Predictions (1-15-24)

Inside The Wizards staff gives you their predictions and analysis for the game against the Detroit Pistons.

The Washington Wizards (7-31) are back at home to face the Detroit Pistons at Capital One Arena. Tip-off is at 3:00 p.m. E.S.T.

Well, after a Wizards victory and a wild Sunday morning trade with the Pistons was completed, this should be one of the more anticipated games this year.

Just one day after these two teams completed a trade involving Washington forwards Danilo Gallinari and Mike Muscala for Detroit guard Isiah Livers and center Marvin Bagley, they match up for the second time this year.

None of those players will be playing tonight but it still makes for a more interesting story line between two of the NBA's worst teams.

The first game between these two ended in a Wizards 126-107 and they have a prime opportunity to win their second straight game for the first time this season.

Let's see how the Inside The Wizards staff views the game tonight.

Washington Wizards guard Bilal Coulibaly (0) controls the ball in front of Detroit Pistons guard Jaden Ivey (23) during the second half at Little Caesars Arena.

It finally happens today; Washington finally starts a winning streak.

Detroit is in absolute free fall and for as bad as the Wizards have been, the Pistons have been much worse.

Considering how bad they were with their best player on the court, Detroit is now really struggling without guard Cade Cunningham.

He is currently out with a knee injury for few more days.

What and opportunity for this Washington team to win a game they should at home and win their second straight games.

They may not get another chance at this so they should take care of business and I believe they will.
