Washington Wizards vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Predictions (1-24-24)

Inside The Wizards staff gives you their predictions and analysis for the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Washington Wizards (7-35) are at home to face the Minnesota Timberwolves (30-13) at Capital One Arena. Tip-off is at 7:00 p.m. E.S.T.

Four straight losses now for the Wizards as they take on the Timberwolves, one of the best teams in the Western Conference

Washington does have one thing going for them though, as Minnesota superstar guard Anthony Edwards has never beaten the Wizards.

Edwards is 0-6 against Washington since entering the NBA.

Let's see how the Inside The Wizards staff views the game tonight.

It may be a long night at Capital One Arena for Washington fans.

Minnesota center Karl-Anthony Towns had 62 points on Monday night, but it was in a loss to the Charlotte Hornets where the Timberwolves got outscored 36-18 in the fourth quarter.

After the game they received a tongue lashing from Head Coach Chris Finch on their effort defensively.

Expect Minnesota to respond well, they're a title contender for a reason.

It looks like Edwards will finally get his win over the Wizards and Towns may have another huge night.

Candi Waller: Timberwolves 132, Wizards 125

The Wizards are in need of a good night on the court. Unfortunately, that night may not be tonight for the team. This Wizards team seems to be the team that opponents can get back into the groove on. From overall play to coaching, I expect the Timberwolves to outlast and outclass the Wizards this evening. The Timberwolves could potentially still be reeling from their lost to the Hornets earlier this week and themselves are in need of a win. I expect them to get just that tonight in the District.
