15+ Former Wizards Made It Into NBA Playoffs

Watching the NBA playoffs can be nostalgic and difficult for Wizards fans

Watching this year's NBA playoffs can be nostalgic and difficult for Wizards fans. More than 15 former Wizards have been spotted during the playoffs. While it may be true that some of the former players haven't received much playing time, being on a team that makes it into the post-season is always a good thing to have.

Here are some of the players that used to play for the Wiz, the seasons they played with the team, and the team they are on currently.

Atlanta Hawks

Aaron Holiday (2021-2022)

Garrison Matthews (2019-2021)

Brooklyn Nets

Spencer Dinwiddie (2021-2022)

Cleveland Cavaliers

Raul Neto (2020-2022)

Denver Nuggets

Ish Smith (2019-2020, 2021-2022)

Jeff Green (2018-2019)

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (2021-2022)

Thomas Bryant (2018-2022)

Golden State Warriors

Gary Payton II (2018-2020)

Minnesota Timberwolves

Austin Rivers (2018-2019)

Philadelphia 76ers

Montrezl Harrell (2021–2022)

Sacramento Kings

Alex Len (2020-2021)

With the players listed, these are all players that were wearing Wizards jerseys within the last five years. One has to wonder if Ted Leonsis was quite frustrated with seeing so many of his former players in the playoffs while his current players watch from home. With mostly free agency and a couple of draft pick decisions on this list, the next GM team will have their hands full trying to change the culture of the Wizards revolving roster door.
