Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins Share Insight With DeAndre Hopkins About Brian Callahan's Offense
The Bengals' stars had big praise for the Titans' new offensive scheme.
CINCINNATI — Former Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan was named head coach of the Titans in January.
Callahan is hoping to breathe some life into a franchise that has gotten stale over the past few seasons. Their offense is a big part of that. Former All-Pro receiver DeAndre talked with Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins about Callahan's offense. The Bengals' stars had high praise for their former offensive coordinator.
"I am very excited to get going under Brian's offense, and his schemes," Hopkins told TennesseeTitans.com. "Obviously I've talked to Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins and those guys told me that I would love this offense, and I think the sky is the limit, especially with a guy like Calvin (Ridley). I am very excited for this offense."
Hopkins had 75 catches for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns last season. Their success on offense this year will depend on second-year quarterback Will Levis taking a step forward.
Callahan's scheme will be an upgrade and they also added guys like Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard in free agency. The Bengals' play the Titans in Nashville this season.
