Bills' Matt Milano in 'Madden': Where's LB Rank?

Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano made an arrival last season, earning his first Pro Bowl nod and making First-Team All-Pro. With Madden 24's release on the horizon, the top-ranked linebackers were revealed, which included Milano and other elite players at the position.

After totaling 99 tackles, 57 tackles for loss and three interceptions last season, Milano earned himself an 88 rating in the game. The 88 overall is the sixth-best rating out of all the linebackers. 

Milano falls short of other highly-ranked linebackers like Fred Warner (96), Roquan Smith (92) and Lavonte David (91). Four total players received a 90 or above rating, and Milano could reach that tier if he puts together a strong start of the season. 

During the Bills past few years contending for a championship, defense has been one of their strong suits, usually ranking near the top of the league in points allowed per game. 

Last season, the Bills allowed the second-lowest points per game at 17.9. Milano played a big part in the Bills incredible defense. Though the Bills will be having head coach Sean McDermott call defensive plays next season, the amount of talent all-around will help the team remain consistent on that side of the ball.

Milano will have to have another huge season to ensure there is no holes in the defense. Tremaine Edmunds, who spent five seasons with the Bills, signed with the Chicago Bears in the offseason. The linebacker position will take a hit because of his departure, and Milano will both need to produce more on the field and continue and be a leader amongst the position group. 

The linebacker, who turns 29 within the week, has been with the team long enough that he can help the other Bills linebackers play within the system. 

While the team will need to fill a hole left behind by a two-time Pro Bowl linebacker, Milano now has the potential to produce more and achieve the 90 overall status, which, again, would lend itself to a fine Bills season.
