The Cleveland Browns returned to the practice field Wednesday in Berea to begin practicing the game-plan for the Baltimore Ravens. Starting cornerback Greg Newsome was not listed on the team's pre-practice injury report and will practice for the first time since suffering an elbow injury during the game against the Steelers in week two.

The injury forced Newsome to miss all of practice last week and the game against Tennessee this past Sunday. The defense didn't miss a beat without him but they will need all hands on deck with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens coming to town.

The Ravens will feature a revamped pass attack with new offensive coordinator Todd Monken calling the plays. Newsome can help to cover rookie wide receiver Zaye Flowers and possibly Odell Beckham Jr., if he is able to return for the game with his ankle injury.

In addition to Newsome, offensive tackle James Hudson was also able to return to practice after missing the Titans game with an ankle injury that happened in practice a week ago. Thankfully the Browns escaped Sunday with no significant injuries.

Joel Bitonio will get his standard extra day of rest today and not practice and running back Kareem Hunt will also not practice due to a rib and groin injury. Hunt may be sore and beat up after playing his first live football since last season and the injury shouldn't be significant.

We will keep you posted with the official injury report from both teams when it becomes available this afternoon. The Ravens have a significant amount of injuries they are dealing with and it will be something to monitor all week.
