OBJ, Three Other Key Ravens Don't Make it Back to Practice on Thursday
The Cleveland Browns are back at practice today in Berea ahead of a big AFC North matchup with the Baltimore Ravens coming to town on Sunday. The Browns are dealing with mostly bumps and bruises including quarterback Deshaun Watson's throwing shoulder.
The Ravens, however, have several important players unable to practice and their status looks questionable heading into Sunday.
If I had to guess cornerback Marlon Humphrey will not likely make his season debut against the Browns. I would think the Ravens would like to get him back to practice before asking him to play in a game.
Beckham Jr., has been battling that ankle injury for several weeks now and if he and Rashod Bateman, who is dealing with a hamstring injury are unable to play, it would leave them short at wide receiver. The bigger concern might be the potential absence of the team's young pass rush duo in Odafe Oweh and David Ojabo which would leave them very thin on the edge.
Starting safety Kyle Hamilton and running back Justice Hill were able to return to practice today and that would signal they are going to play Sunday. This comes on the heels of yesterday, being able to get both Ronnie Stanley and Tyler Linderbaum back at practice on the offensive line.
