The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be one of the most interesting teams to evaluate in the 2023-24 NFL season, as they’re beginning a new regime without future Hall-of-Fame QB Tom Brady. Although he was only there for a few years, he brought a Lombardi Trophy to the city. With such a significant absence from the roster, making Buccaneers predictions this season will be quite intriguing.

Our experts are here to help with that with their Buccaneers predictions below. We also have a guaranteed two-part FanDuel promotion with a total value of $300 for you, so we have you set up for a great NFL season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL Season Record & Schedule Predictions

With Brady no longer down in Tampa, there is plenty of attention being given to the team, which of course means varying Buccaneers predictions. With such an impactful loss at such an important position, we aren’t surprised to see the Bucs' win total set rather low at 6.5.

So, the question then becomes how many games outside of the NFC South can Tampa win? Their division was arguably the worst in football last year, as the Bucs themselves won it with a losing record. Along with the NFC South, Tampa plays the NFC North and AFC South this season. With that set of opponents, they have every opportunity to win seven games. So, let’s fully break down our Buccaneers predictions.

Buccaneers Win Total & Win-Loss Record Predictions for 2023-24

Beginning with their own division, the Bucs could nearly reach their win total with those matchups alone. The Atlanta Falcons are one of the youngest teams in the NFL, relying on a second-year QB that was far from a top prospect and a rookie RB. Similarly, the Carolina Panthers will be starting a rookie QB themselves in Bryce Young, who is very undersized.

Along with Carolina trading away Christian McCaffrey - one of the best players in the NFL - last year, they are far from the 15-1 team led by QB Cam Newton. As for the New Orleans Saints, they will be without dual-threat RB Alvin Kamara the first three games of the year, and we have no idea what QB Derek Carr will look like on a new team.

In terms of the AFC South, that was one division arguably even worse than the NFC South. The Jacksonville Jaguars won it at 9-8, and it included the Indianapolis Colts at 4-12-1 and the Houston Texans at 3-13-1. Those latter two teams are projected to be among the worst in the NFL yet again, which could certainly be two wins for Tampa.

As for the NFC North, the Chicago Bears had the worst record in football at 3-14 and the Green Bay Packers are beginning a new regime without QB Aaron Rodgers. The Detroit Lions will be tough, but they have been impossible to trust for over a decade now. Just two wins from the four teams in that division will go a long way in our Buccaneers predictions coming to fruition.

There’s no denying that QB Baker Mayfield needs to prove that he deserves another starting role, but the schedule lines up nicely for him. Therefore, our best Buccaneers predictions on their win total is for them to go over 6.5 wins (+116 at FanDuel Sportsbook).
