WATCH: Cardinals First Offseason Workout

The 2024 season is unofficially here with the Arizona Cardinals' first team lift.

ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals got back to work today.

The Cardinals were one of many teams to begin voluntary offseason workouts today, as a slew of players arrived at the practice facility in Tempe to lay the foundation of what many hope to be a strong 2024 season.

A small clip provided by the team (media was not present for workouts):, which included a mix of weight training and activities outside on the practice field:

The Cardinals look to rebound nicely from a 4-13 record last year. Though no flashy or splash moves were made in the desert, there's hope Arizona is on the right track under general manager Monti Ossenfort.

"I trust in Monti. I trust in the guys upstairs. That's their job - to get this team right and to draft the players we need," Trey McBride told reporters today.

"I trust in their decisions fully. I'm super-excited for the talent they are going to bring in."

Key offseason dates for the team moving forward:

April 25-27: 2024 NFL Draft
May 10-12: Rookie Mini-Camp
May 20-22: Voluntary OTA's
May 28-30: Voluntary OTA's
June 3-6: Voluntary OTA's
June 11-13: Mini-Camp

It's unknown if any big name players weren't present at the facility, though through video and pictures provided from the team it appeared most of the important chess pieces were there. No reports surfaced of any Cardinals skipping the workout either.
