Recent Chargers History at Pick No. 5 Bodes Well For Bolts This Time Around

The Los Angeles Chargers hold the fifth overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, a pick that has bode well for them in the past. Los Angeles's recent history with pick No. 5 has given them some incredible talents over the years

This includes linebacker Junior Seau, who was drafted by the then-San Diego Chargers with pick No. 5 in the 1990 NFL Draft. The team also selected running back LaDainian Tomlinson with pick No. 5 in the 2001 NFL Draft.

If the Chargers pick this year is anything like either of these two players, the Bolts will have struck gold. They are expected to take either a wide receiver or offensive lineman with the pick but there has been talk about them possibly trading down as well.

No matter who the Bolts select, they should get a game-changer for their team. After finishing the season with a record of 5-12 last year, the Bolts set out to change the narrative going forward.

With new head coach Jim Harbaugh in the mix, the Chargers have a certain buzz around them that wasn't there previously. Harbaugh is determined to get this franchise back to a place of contention and he is doing whatever he can to help them win.
