Normally, you don't see a week three matchup in the NFL as a must-win game. But you especially don't typically see it as a must-win for both teams involved.

However, this coming weekend, the Los Angeles Chargers and Minnesota Vikings game is exactly that, as both teams sit with a record of 0-2. Both organizations made the playoffs a season ago, so this is exactly the way that either was hoping the year would start.

The Chargers are favored in the game despite having to go on the road. But we also don't discount the Vikings. Minnesota has a very explosive offense, led by the best wide receiver in the game, Justin Jefferson.

Both teams come in with their own issues, but for the Chargers, they need to show they can close out a game. It has cost them this season, but this is a chance to start trying to turn their season around.

Multiple pundits at USA Today forecasted the game with three of four people picking Los Angeles to get the win.

“The Chargers and Vikings have both underperformed. The Chargers have been the biggest disappointment because they were believed to be an AFC contender entering the season. The Chargers can still turn it around, but they better start this week.”

Being in the AFC, the Chargers can't afford another loss this early in the year. The AFC is loaded, so they are already behind the eight-ball.

“It’s going to be big trouble for whichever team ends up 0-3, as they both have been making several mistakes that have cost them games. Both offenses know how to put up points, but this game comes down to whoever has the ball in the final seconds. Los Angeles is able to turn its misfortune around with a win."

If they want to win this game, LA must put together a complete game effort. The Vikings will be coming in just as desperate as they are, so they must be ready to go.

We will learn a lot about what this Bolts team is made of this week with their backs against the wall. If they fail to pick up the victory again, we could see some real changes made very soon.
