Entering their game against the Tennesee Titans this past weekend, it was a question mark if star defensive end Joey Bosa would suit up for the Los Angeles Chargers. He was dealing with a hamstring injury and barely practiced throughout the week. But he gave it a go and looked like the Joey Bosa of old.

He recorded two sacks and four combined tackles in the game. Bosa was getting into the backfield to disrupt things, and he made his presence felt the entire game. He provided an update on his injury once the game was over.

"I feel fine. It was a little strained last week but to be able to recover and get back out there and at least help my team a little bit meant a lot to me," Bosa said. "But yeah, I just wanted to be smart.

Despite the Chargers not coming away with the victory, they should be encouraged by the effort that Bosa put together. He looked very sharp out there, which is a great thing for the team going forward.

Having a guy like Bosa playing up to his potential can unlock things for this Chargers defense. They were able to put on a much better performance than in week one, and it all started with Bosa being aggressive.

"Yeah, I think we got a good rush plan, mixing up the games inside and trying to rush a little better as one," Bosa said. "But wish we could've got him down a couple more times, I think that would have turned the tide completely."

Head coach Brandon Staley echoed a similar sentiment about his star player, giving him credit for pushing through the injury.

Staley added: "I thought he played aggressively. Says a lot about him that he wanted to be out there."

Now the Chargers just need to put things together for an entire game. If they can get Bosa to perform well, and come out with a win, it would be huge for them. Starting 0-2 is rough, but there is still time to make a turnaround.

They will be taking on the Minnesota Vikings on the road next week, and both teams will be desperate to get their first win of the new season. The Vikings pose a different set of challenges for the Bolts, so they will need to make sure they are prepared and ready this week.
