Chargers News: Justin Herbert’s Costly Interception Drops Bolts to 2-3

A devastating outcome for LA.

Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert failed to be the hero in primetime against Dallas in Week 6.

LA ran a two-minute drill with a chance to tie their game against the Cowboys but the Bolts' signal caller just couldn't get it done.

On 3rd and 10, Herbert dropped back to pass but quickly saw pressure much like he did all game long against Dallas' stout defensive line.

The former Duck forced the ball to a receiver but underthrew it well short of his intended target.

Stephon Gilmore struggled all night in coverage against Keenan Allen and Josh Palmer but wound up with the last laugh on Monday night.

The veteran corner, who's playing the No. 1 boundary role in Trevon Diggs' stead, sealed the deal with an interception for Dallas and pushed the NFC East contender to 4-2.

Brandon Staley's group dropped to under .500 once again and will face some serious questions about their team after another sloppy overall game.
