Chargers News: Watch LA Commemorate Black History Month With Community Outreach
The Los Angeles Chargers commemorated Black History Month by holding a community outreach with Crenshaw Skate Club. They created a line of merchandise with the club to show that representation matters within the community.
Tobey McIntosh, the creator of the club spoke about his goal in creating the club.
"We'll look at mainstream skate videos and skate magazines, I never really saw people who looked like us. And instead of waiting for these bigger brands to create something to represent us, I wanted to just create something ourselves."
It's a massive step for McIntosh to be able to work with the Chargers, and the team wanted to make sure that they participated in this important community outreach. Los Angeles believed in making this collaboration a reality, and now it has impacted the local communities.
"It's been a blessing to be able to go from that to now a place where I can collaborate with brand like Chargers"
