Chargers Sign 2020 Mr. Irrelevant Draft Pick
Your Los Angeles Chargers are not done making moves prior to the 2023 NFL season.
According to NFL and Texas reporter Aaron Wilson, the Chargers have signed 2020 Mr. Irrevalnt, inside linebacker Taw Crowder.
Crowder is a Georgia native who attended the prestigious college football university from 2015-2019. Crowder was the last pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, aka Mr. Irrevelant, by the New York Giants. He spent three seasons with the Giants, then spent the 2022 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers released Crowder in late May, and he has been a free agent ever since until now.
In his three-year career, Crowder has played in 41 games, recorded two interceptions, eight passes defended, two force fumbles, 232 combo tackles, nine tackles for loss, and six QB hits.
We'll see what type of role he serves with the team. Welcome to LA, Tae!
