The Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints face off on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium in a battle of two teams looking to right the ship.

The Colts (3-4) have lost three of the last four games and the Saints (3-4) have dropped four out of their last five. Both teams have had trouble getting out of their own way, particularly when it comes to turning the ball over.

One thing that may very well play a role on Sunday afternoon is the health of both teams. The Colts listed cornerback Tony Brown (ribs), defensive tackle Eric Johnson II (ankle), and running back Zack Moss (elbow/heel) as questionable coming in while ruling out three starters in cornerback JuJu Brents (quadricep), tight end Kylen Granson (concussion), and right tackle Braden Smith (wrist/hip).

Johnson was listed as inactive prior to game time while Brown and Moss will give it a go.

The Saints had an even bigger cloud over their head, ruling offensive lineman James Hurst as out and linebacker Demario Davis (knee), offensive lineman Max Garcia (illness), tight end Jimmy Graham (illness), safety J.T. Gray (hamstring), quarterback Taysom Hill (chest), safety Marcus Maye (hamstring/illness), safety Tyrann Mathieu (foot), offensive lineman Andrus Peat (ankle), cornerback Alontae Taylor (ankle), and wide receiver Michael Thomas (illness) as questionable.

All of the questionable players except for Graham are cleared to go.

Here are both teams' lists of inactive players.

  • G Ike Boettger
  • CB JuJu Brents (quadricep)
  • TE Kylen Granson (concussion)
  • DT Eric Johnson II (ankle)
  • DE Isaiah Land
  • OT Braden Smith (wrist/hip)
  • CB Ameer Speed

Without Johnson, who is a big part of replacing starting nose tackle Grover Stewart (suspension), the Colts will need to have practice-squad call-up McTelvin Agim and rookie Adetomiwa Adabawore step up alongside DeForest Buckner and Taven Bryan.

With Brents out (but Brown in), Kenny Moore II, Jaylon Jones, and Darrell Baker Jr. will see the bulk of the action at corner. The Colts also called up Chris Lammons from the practice squad.

In Granson's absence, expect to see more of Will Mallory alongside Mo Alie-Cox and Drew Ogletree.

  • TE Jimmy Graham (illness)
  • QB Jake Haener
  • OT James Hurst (ankle)
  • WR Keith Kirkwood
  • DE Kyle Phillips

With the exception of Graham and Hurst, the Saints' other inactives are healthy scratches.
