The Dallas Cowboys playing on Monday night at the Los Angeles Chargers, so they didn’t gain any ground in the NFL standings as a result of the week 6

But they may have gained something: the reaffirmation that in this parity-driven league, nobody’s perfect.

Cowboys, Eagles, Niners

Cowboys, Eagles, Niners

A stunning couple of upsets went in the Cowboys' favor, with the San Francisco 49ers bumbling their way to a loss the Cleveland Browns, 19-17. … as they also suffered in-game injuries to several of their offensive stars, Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, and Trent Williams.

San Francisco falls to 5-1 with the loss … as do the Philadelphia Eagles, who despite the benefit of some generous referee work that benefitted Jalen Hurts (and his three interceptions) managed to lose to the Jets for the first time in franchise history, 20-14.

So now, as our Mike Fisher notes here in his game day Fish Report, the scene is set for Dallas to accept its own imperfections (at 3-2) while also taking advantage of the imperfections of its top two conference rivals.

That creates a lot to play for now on “Monday Night Football” at the LA Chargers ... as Fish breaks down in podcast form above and in video form below! Join us, Cowboys Nation!
