On today's episode of The Daily Hunt:
I tell you why the Madden Curse is real and explain why there's no need for ANY Dolphins' players to grace the cover now, or ever.
Yes, that means I don't want to see shutdown defensive back Xavien Howard on the cover when EA finally fixes the secondary play. And no, I most certainly do not want to see Christian Wilkins on the cover when the trenches are finally fixed. And I absolutely, under no circumstances, want to see whichever QB the Dolphins end up drafting in the 2020 draft *Cough Tua Tagovailoa Cough* on the cover.
Truth is, the Miami Dolphins already appear to be cursed. And whether you believe an ancient Indian burial ground is to blame or just years of bad luck finding the next great quarterback since Marino himself, KEEP THE DOLPHINS FAR AWAY FROM THE COVER OF MADDEN.
In fact, why not just do away with the cover athlete all together? I understand it's a dream of many of these players, but the curse is real. Sure, it has not affected every player, but more times than not if you're on the cover of Madden, something bad is going to happen.
After last night's injury to Patrick Mahomes, I don't want to see another NFL superstar on the cover of Madden.
