Atlanta Falcons vs. Arizona Cardinals Prediction for NFL Week 10
Despite Atlanta traveling cross country to Arizona for Sunday’s matchup, they still find themselves slight favorites. When these teams met in Week 17 of last year, we saw a narrow one-point Falcons win as well.
Although that was quite a sweat, we still believe that they can take care of business this week. They’d be larger favorites if not for Cardinals QB Kyler Murray set to return, but we truly aren’t very concerned about that. He’s declined since his peak season of showing off his dynamic running ability, and having not played in over a year, we expect plenty of rust.
Keep in mind that Arizona is also without RB James Conner, which is just another reason as to why the Cardinals have the NFL’s worst record at 1-8. Arizona also has a very poor rushing defense, with Atlanta can exploit, which we’ll dive further into with our Falcons vs. Cardinals player prop bets. But to start, our best Falcons vs. Cardinals prediction is Atlanta -1.5 (-110 at BetMGM Sportsbook).
Falcons vs. Cardinals Player Prop Picks & Best Bets Featuring Bijan Robinson & Marquise Brown
Let’s not waste any time breaking down what we foreshadowed above. We’re expecting a big day from rookie RB Bijan Robinson against this Cardinals rushing defense. He entered the season as the favorite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year, and while that may not come to fruition, he’s proven that he’s an explosive back.
Following the strange game in which he missed nearly the entirety of it due to illness and had just one carry, he came back strong with 62 rushing yards, and that’s nothing compared to what Arizona has been allowing. In six of their last seven games, the Cards have allowed the opposition’s leading rusher to go for 80, 105, 158, 81, 106 and 122 yards.
With those numbers in mind, we’ll add to our Falcons vs. Cardinals prediction with our first player prop on Bijan Robinson over 55.5 rushing yards (-115 at BetMGM Sportsbook).
The second player we’re targeting is Arizona WR Marquise Brown. The former Baltimore Raven simply can’t get separation, and it’s not going to come any easier against this Atlanta passing defense. They’re top 10 in that regard, and Brown already hasn’t impressed. He’s had over 34 receiving yards just once over the past four games, and one of those was a game in which he had 11 targets!
With that type of inefficiency, we’re adding Marquise Brown under 51.5 receiving yards (-115 at BetMGM Sportsbook) to our Falcons vs. Cardinals player prop bets player prop bets.
