Giants-Jets Joint Training Camp Practice Cancelled

The two MetLife Stadium inhabitants will revisit plans to hold a joint practice again in 2024.

Plans for a joint practice between the New York Giants and New York Jets have been shelved for this year, Jets head coach Robert Saleh told reporters at his team's OTA workout.

Last summer, the two teams held a joint practice at the Giants' training facility in East Rutherford. This year, it was anticipated that the joint practice would be held at the Jets' facility in Florham Park.

The two teams, who play each other in the preseason, are also scheduled to play each other in the regular season in Week 8, which could be why the joint practice was shelved for this year.

Saleh also told reporters that the plan is for the two teams to revisit holding joint practices in 2024

The Giants will hold two joint practices in Detroit against the Lions, whom they'll see on Friday, August 11.

The Giants are not scheduled to hold joint practices with the Panthers, who are coming to MetLife Stadium for a preseason game in Week 2, a swap made at the last minute when the annual Giants-Patriots preseason game was shelved.
