Anzalone, Montgomery Highest PFF-Graded Lions in Win Over Bears

Examining PFF grades from Lions' win over Bears.

The Detroit Lions overcame four turnovers Sunday to defeat the Chicago Bears.

Quarterback Jared Goff threw a trio of interceptions, but bounced back to dominate the fourth quarter and steal a win over the Bears to move to 8-2 on the season.

They became the first team this season to win after committing four turnovers. It was the first time a team had done this in a regular season game since Sept. 8, 2022, when the Buffalo Bills beat the Los Angeles Rams despite turning the ball over four times.

The Lions faced a 12-point deficit after the Bears connected on a field goal with 4:15 remaining. The offense was not fazed, though, and Goff rebounded from his struggles to lead back-to-back touchdown drives.

The passer shed his shortcomings in crunch time, playing near-flawless football on the final two series. He went 10-for-12 on the final two possessions, totaling 115 yards and a touchdown to Jameson Williams.

Former Bear David Montgomery provided the game-winning score against his former team. He plunged in from a yard out, giving him eight touchdowns in his first seven games as a Lion.

Coach Dan Campbell praised the team's resilience after the win. The defense got multiple stops when needed, while the offense played a perfect compliment by scoring at the opportune times.

The Lions also are the first team this year to win a game in which they trailed by at least 12 with four minutes to go. Previously, teams were 0-84 in that situation this year.

Here's a look at the best and worst performances Sunday, as graded by Pro Football Focus.
