Carolina Panthers 7-Round Mock Draft: Easter Edition

A full projection of Panthers' picks.

It's officially mock draft season here at All Panthers on FanNation/SI. Each week leading up to the 2024 NFL Draft, we will release a new full, seven-round Carolina Panthers mock.

RD 2, Pick 33: C Zach Frazier (West Virginia)

We went in a different direction last week to shake things up, but we're going back to my gut here with Frazier. It makes too much sense. He checks every box from what the Panthers need in a center and the fact that they've yet to sign a true center says a lot. Austin Corbett should fit well, but is he the long-term answer? Probably not.

Last week: WR Keon Coleman (Florida State).

RD 2, Pick 39 (from NYG): EDGE Darius Robinson (Missouri)

Carolina could go receiver here, but I went with best player available and took Robinson. With the receiver class being fairly deep, we can push that position aside for a round. Robinson had a breakout season in 2023 with 14 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks and he's just getting started.

Last week: CB Kamari Lassiter (Georgia).

RD 3, Pick 65: WR Malachi Corley (Western Kentucky)

Apart from Malik Nabers and Marvin Harrison Jr., this is my favorite receiver in this draft. Not only do I believe he'll have a solid NFL career but I wouldn't be shocked if he is indeed the third-best receiver from this class when it's all said and done. 259 catches, 3,035 yards, and 29 touchdowns while at WKU.

Last week: C Sedrick Van Pran (Georgia).

RD 4, Pick 101: TE Cade Stover (Ohio State)

Dan Morgan and Dave Canales are all about Tommy Tremble and the trajectory he is on. That being said, both admitted that would like to add some competition to the room and grabbing Stover here in the fourth makes sense. He's logged 982 yards and 10 touchdowns over the past two seasons and still has a ton of room to grow.

Last week: Same pick.

RD 5, Pick 141 (from NYG): S Malik Mustapha (Wake Forest)

Xavier Woods is entering the final year of a three-year deal and Jordan Fuller is coming in on a one-year deal, meaning the Panthers don't have anything under contract in the back end moving forward. Mustapha can serve as a depth piece learning under a pair of veterans and can be a key piece on special teams. If the Woods/Fuller tandem impress, it's a win-win situation.

Last week: EDGE Javon Solomon (Troy).

RD 5, Pick 142 (from TEN): EDGE Jalyx Hunt (Houston Christian)

We're double dipping this week with pass rushers. You can never have enough of them and there's still a lot of uncertainty at the position even with the signings of D.J. Wonnum and Jadeveon Clowney. Are they long-term solutions? Maybe, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to stack up on younger options. Hunt has a strong skillset that just needs to be developed.

Last week: DT Jordan Jefferson (LSU).

RD 7, Pick 240 (from PIT): DT Jamree Kromah (James Madison)

I don't believe Kromah is a scheme-specific player. He's got the ability to play inside and out in Ejiro Evero's three-man front. As a senior, he recorded 59 tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks - a very highly productive player who has a motor.

Last week: WR Josh Cephus (UTSA).
