It’s the last game on the Week 8 NFL slate, but it’s an intriguing matchup in what should be a raucous environment. It will be the first time since 2018 that the Detroit Lions are hosting Monday Night Football, but the Las Vegas Raiders are hungry to get back to .500 on the season. In this article, I will have a preview of the game, including my favorite Raiders vs. Lions prop bets.

When you fade or follow any of my favorite Raiders vs. Lions player props at BetMGM Sportsbook, you can earn up to $1,500 in bet protection on your first bet. Keep reading to learn more or CLICK HERE to get started with a new BetMGM account now.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Detroit Lions Prediction & Player Prop Picks Including Jared Goff &Josh Jacobs for Monday Night Football, 10/30

Jared Goff Under 265.5 Passing Yards (-115 at BetMGM Sportsbook)

The first of our Raiders vs. Lions prop bets involves Lions Quarterback Jared Goff. Goff is having a good season, as he currently ranks sixth in the NFL in passing yards. However, this could be a difficult matchup for Goff, as the Raiders have allowed the fifth-fewest passing yards per game in the league this season.

Additionally, the Raiders have struggled with defending the run this season, and we know Detroit is a team that likes to run the ball. Look for the Lions to try to use the ground game in this matchup, so I like Jared Goff U265.5 Passing Yards (-115 at BetMGM) tonight.

Josh Jacobs Under 63.5 Rushing Yards (-130 at BetMGM Sportsbook)

My favorite selection related to Raiders vs. Lions prop bets is a wager on Raiders RB Josh Jacobs to finish with fewer than 64 yards on the ground in this matchup. Jacobs has gone over this number in just two of his seven games this season and now faces a Detroit defense that ranks second in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game.

Additionally, Jacobs has been extremely inefficient with his carries this season, as he needed 20 and 25 carries the only two times that he eclipsed 64 yards. In a game in which the Raiders are +7.5-point underdogs, it’s unlikely that Jacobs will get that many carries to get over this number, so I'll be betting on Josh Jacobs U63.5 Rushing Yards (-130 at BetMGM) during MNF.

Raiders vs. Lions Spread & Free Pick Against the Spread

In addition to the Raiders vs. Lions player props above, we also have a Raiders vs. Lions spread pick that can be followed at BetMGM Sportsbook. Whether you want to use that prediction or any of the Raiders vs. Lions prop bets we highlighted above, make sure you join BetMGM before kickoff tonight.

From a matchup perspective, we should expect to see the Lions control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. However, Lions RB David Montgomery is out tonight, and rookie RB Jahmyr Gibbs hasn't impressed this season. So, I think Las Vegas can keep this one close.

MNF Injury Report: Raiders vs. Lions

Before placing bets on any Raiders vs. Lions prop bets, it’s important to check the latest injury report. The Raiders are missing LB Divine Deablo and ILB Kana'i Mauga tonight, while LB Curtis Bolton, CB Nate Hobbs and K Daniel Carlson are questionable. It'll be interesting to see if Carlson will play, as the Raiders would take a hit without their starting kicker.

For Detroit, G Jonah Jackson and RB David Montgomery are out, C Frank Ragnow is doubtful and WR Amon Ra St. Brown is now questionable with an illness. St Brown's status is particularly interesting, as he wasn't on the team's final injury report this past Saturday, so make sure you check the inactivates for tonight's game before kickoff.
