The Las Vegas Raiders approach the offseason with two major needs across the roster: finding their future quarterback and finding others to protect him.

The 2023 NFL Draft can provide for both needs, but with a difficult decision to make in the first round, the Raiders might look outside the first round to solidify the offensive line.

On Sunday, a total of 51 offensive linemen will be taking part in on-field workouts at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Ind.

The full list of prospects attending the Combine is listed here, but below are a few prospects that can help the Raiders straighten the offensive line from day one.

Steve Avila, TCU

Dawand Jones, Ohio State

Jaxson Kirkland, Washington

Cody Mauch, North Dakota State

O'Cyrus Torrence, Florida

Darnell Wright, Tennessee

The right tackle spot is an area where the Raiders will consider improving during the offseason, as it might be the weakest area on their offensive line.

Dawand Jones (Ohio State), Cody Mauch (North Dakota State), and Darnell Wright (Tennessee) all offer athleticism, strength, and great size to cover the right side of the offensive line, and all can probably be reached on Day Two of the Draft.

Their performance at the Combine might determine which of the three will go first off the board, but the others will not be far behind.

The Raiders also have great options at guard, as Jaxson Kirkland (Washington) and Steve Avila (TCU) are two versatile interior linemen that can anchor any side of the offensive line.

While O'Cyrus Torrence (Florida) has the potential to become one of the best guards in the NFL, in his college career, he did not allow a single sack.

Overall, the Raiders might finally find stability and quality players for the offensive line via the draft and provide stability for the next quarterback to line up under center for the Silver and Black.

The offensive linemen will begin their drills on Sunday, March 5, at 10 a.m. PST, along with the running backs.

The NFL Draft will occur at Union Station in Kansas City, Mo., from Thursday, April 27, to Saturday, April 29. ESPN, ABC, and NFL Network will broadcast all seven rounds.

March 7, 2023, before 4 p.m. EST, is the club's deadline to designate Franchise or Transition Players.

March 13-15 is the free agent negotiation period. Starting at 12 p.m. EDT on March 13 and ending at 3:59:59 p.m. EDT on March 15, clubs are permitted to contact and enter into contract negotiations with the certified agents of players who will become Unrestricted Free Agents upon the expiration of their 2022 Player Contracts at 4 p.m. EDT on March 15.

The 2023 NFL Year and Free Agency period begins at 4 p.m. EDT on March 15. The Raiders are expected to be significant players in the free-agent market this season.
