Important NFL Dates For The Saints April Calendar
What's going on in the month of April for the Saints besides the NFL Draft?
The beginning of April is dreadful for many, as the first day of the month brings to light plenty of hijinks. Across the NFL world, you've undoubtedly seen your fair share of jokes today, and after Monday we can get a little bit more serious about what's ahead. For the Saints, it's all business leading up to the NFL Draft.
The team gets back to work in two weeks, which is voluntary attendance, but should see a good turnout. This is also the last push to get intel on draft prospects through the Top-30 process and more. Here's a look at what you need to know for the month ahead when it comes to the black and gold.

In addition to these scheduled events, we project an annual availability for head coach Dennis Allen and general manager Mickey Loomis prior to the draft. We obviously should keep in mind that free agency is still ongoing, and there's plenty of talent the Saints could use that's still out there. At this point, you're more likely to see a lot of one-year deals. Also remember that there's a certain level of scouting being done for the UFL, which kicked off on Saturday. They have a 10-week regular season with the postseason starting on Saturday, June 8.
