NFL Draft: Seahawks Select OL Olu Oluwatimi with Pick No. 154
The Seattle Seahawks are continuing their monster NFL Draft weekend with another pick in the fifth round.
With the No. 154 overall pick, the Seahawks selected Olu Oluwatimi, the second Michigan Wolverine in the fifth round after taking Mike Morris three picks earlier.
"Oluwatimi is a decorated and highly experienced center with more than 3,000 snaps at the college level who displays a high football IQ, but the lack of bend in his knees and concerns about his agility limit his ceiling as a prospect," SI Draft Bible writes.
Oluwatimi is a decorated athlete and an experienced player, starting four seasons anchoring the offensive line for the Wolverines playing in some high-profile games.
Center was a big need for the Seahawks coming into the draft, and Oluwatimi will have a chance to compete for the starting job in training camp this summer.
Morris and Oluwatimi are added to the draft class with Illinois cornerback Devon Witherspoon, Ohio State wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Auburn outside linebacker Derick Hall, UCLA running back Zach Charbonnet, LSU offensive lineman Anthony Bradford, Mississippi State defensive tackle Cameron Young.
The Seahawks are back on the clock with the No. 198 pick in the sixth round.
