Steelers Have Two Clear Favorites in NFL Draft
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are at the point in the NFL Draft process where their secrets are revealed. And right now, there are two big names to watch with their first two picks, and a surprising position they have a ton of interest in apparently.
The Steelers are not shy in their efforts to get as deep into the scouting report as possible on one cornerback and an offensive tackle. With the way the NFL Draft board could shake out, it makes sense for Pittsburgh to be ready to pick either player, but both come with question marks.
As for their favorite position in the draft, it appears to be interior offensive line. And with that fascination, executives around the league believe they're ready to make another splash trade with one of their own players.
And what does the hire of Glenn Thomas mean for the Steelers offense and the future of the offensive coordinator position? Thomas has a Kenny Pickett connection from his time as a college coach, and appears to be the right fit for the job here in Pittsburgh.
