Bengals vs. Titans Prediction, Player Prop Bets & Lineups for 10/1

On Sunday, the Bengals will travel to Nashville to take on the Titans in an AFC battle. Both teams currently sit at last place in their divisions with 1-2 records. The Bengals are coming off their first win of the season over the LA Rams, while the Titans try to recover from a 27-3 loss to Cleveland this past weekend. This feels like a bit of a turning point for both squads here, as the Brngals appear to be turning things around while the Titans have a lot of questions to be answered after the blowout to the Browns.

Joe Burrow appears to be feeling better with time as he nurses his calf injury, and the Bengals offense looks ready to roll. Meanwhile, Ryan Tannehill needs to get this Titans offense back on track ASAP.

Our Bengals vs. Titans prediction will mainly be based on offense, so keep reading for our best bets and player props. Also, we will be introducing you to some fantastic offers from DraftKings Sportsbook and Underdog Fantasy throughout this article.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Tennessee Titans Prediction for Sunday, 10/1

On Sunday at 1:00 PM EST, the Bengals will head to Tennessee to square off with the Titans. Joe Burrow and the Bengals just picked up their first win of the season over Matthew Stafford’s Rams on Monday Night Football. Burrow hadn’t been himself in the first two weeks of the season, but he was able to get the job done on Monday despite being slightly immobilized by his calf injury. The good news for Cincy is that Burrow appeared to have gotten the rust off after missing most of training camp.

Joe Mixon was able to finally get into the end zone against the Rams for his first TD of the year, in a game where he had 19 carries for 65 yards. Ja’Marr Chase also had quite the breakout game, with 141 yards receiving. The Burrow to Chase connection is the most important one for the Bengals, and they looked dangerous last week. We expect the Bengals to keep the offense rolling on Sunday.

Now, let’s look at the home team Titans, who come off a tough loss to the Browns, in a game in which the Titans were dominated on both sides of the ball. It’s no secret that the Browns defense is special, as they held the Bengals to three points in week one and now the Titans in week three.

However, Tannehill and the offense played well against the Chargers defense in week two where the Titans won in OT, and we believe the Bengals D is comparable to that of the Chargers. In week two, Tannehill went 20/24 passing for 246 yards and a touchdown. Derrick Henry was a beast, running for 80 yards and a TD, while Treylon Burks had 76 yards receiving. This is the type of game we expect out of Tennessee against the Bengals defense.

Our official Bengals vs. Titans prediction is that we’ll get a high-scoring, close game that goes over the total of 40.5 points. Both teams have given up 20+ points in two of their first three games, and we think this will be the case once again on Sunday. Both teams don’t exactly have top defenses, and these offenses are both capable of putting up 3 or more touchdowns any given day. Let’s roll with the Over 40.5 Total (-110 at DraftKings).

Bengals vs. Titans Player Prop Picks Targeting Derrick Henry & Joe Mixon

As we previously concluded, our best bet on this game is the Over 40.5 Total. However, we also want to present you with some Bengals vs. Titans Player Props to have some fun with. Both of our prop picks will be centered around the star running backs on both sides.

Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans, Over 69.5 Rushing Yards (-115 at DraftKings)

First, let’s look at Derrick Henry for the Titans. Henry has had a bit of a slow start this season, with only 163 yards through the first three games. This number is a little bit low, and Henry only racked up 20 yards last week against Cleveland. We don’t believe the Bengals run defense will smother Henry as well as the Browns, and we want to take a shot on Derrick Henry over 69.5 rushing yards (-115) at home in Nashville. On top of Henry’s rushing yards, we also want to take a stab at Joe Mixon to find the endzone for the second straight week.

Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals, Anytime Touchdown (+110 DraftKings)

Mixon is a dynamic back who can catch passes out of the backfield as well as power his way up the middle for touchdowns. He caught his mojo last week, got plenty of touches for 80 yards, and his connection with Burrow speaks for itself. Let’s go with Joe Mixon Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+110) at DraftKings to conclude Bengals vs. Titans prop bets.

Bengals vs. Titans Lineups & Odds for Sunday, October 1st, 2023 via DraftKings

Before we get into the main market odds on the game, we want to quickly run through the Bengals vs. Titans lineups, including offensive leaders for both teams. For the Bengals, Joe Burrow leads the passing game with 563 yards passing and 2 TDS. Joe Mixon is the lead rusher with 180 yards and a TD. Lastly, Ja’Marr Chase has racked up 211 receiving yards. For the Titans, Ryan Tannehill runs the show with his 548 passing yards. He’s accompanied by Derrick Henry, who has 163 rushing yards, and also Deandre Hopkins who’s collected 153 receiving yards thus far.

Now, we will provide you with Bengals vs. Titans odds provided by DraftKings.

Money Line: Bengals (-135) vs. Titans (+114)

Point Spread: Bengals -2.5 (-112) vs. Titans +2.5 (-108)

Game Total: Over 40.5 Points (-112) & Under 40.5 Points (-108)

This means that if you wager $100 on the Titans to win the game outright, you would profit $114. If you take the Titans to lose by less than 3 points, you will need to wager $108 to win $100.

Titans Injury Report for NFL Week 4

The Titans have been pretty healthy to start this season, so cross your fingers Titans fans. However, the main concern for Tennessee is currently rookie guard Peter Skoronski. The Titans offensive line has been struggling, and Skoronski looked phenomenal in week one. He’s now missed two games , and hasn’t been practicing this week which isn’t a good sign for Sunday. We’ll keep an eye on his status.
