Tennessee Titans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Prediction for NFL Week 11
We’re fully willing to admit it’s been difficult to back the Titans as of late, but there is plenty of reason for optimism with rookie QB Will Levis leading the way. We all saw what he did in his NFL debut throwing four touchdown passes.
Now, he has a fantastic matchup against the Jags, but we’ll discuss that more in our Titans vs. Jaguars player prop bets. For now, it’s simply important to note the advantageous matchup should allow him to continue the trend we’ve seen between these teams. In the last five meetings, Tennessee has been able to cover the spread in four of them.
Oddsmakers are now giving us a full touchdown, so we’re expecting a push at the very least. Regardless, we just saw the Jags get smacked 34-3 last weekend, which was also at home. Even if Levis and company can’t get the outright upset, we’re still focusing our Titans vs. Jaguars prediction on Tennessee +7 (-115 at DraftKings Sportsbook).
Titans vs. Jaguars Player Prop Picks & Best Bets Featuring Will Levis & Evan Engram
We foreshadowed we’d be talking more about Levis in our Titans vs. Jaguars player prop bets, so let’s do just that. When it comes to the Jags defense, the way to attack it is 100% through the air.
Jacksonville has allowed the fifth-fewest rushing yards per game, but the third-most passing yards per game. San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy may not be a rookie anymore, but the sophomore threw for an impressive 296 yards and three touchdowns against the Jags last week.
Levis didn’t have his best game this past weekend, but in his first two career games, he threw for 238 and 262 yards. Given Jacksonville’s poor passing defense, we’re adding to our Titans vs. Jaguars prediction with our first player prop on Will Levis over 212.5 passing yards (-115 at DraftKings Sportsbook).
We also have another target, and it’s on the Jags side of things. It’s similar in terms of relating to the passing game, but this time on a pass-catcher. Tennessee had the absolute worst passing defense in the NFL last year, and while it has certainly improved, it’s not quite elite. Therefore, we’re expecting Jacksonville TE Evan Engram to continue excelling.
In two of his three career games against the Titans, Engram has had 75 and 162 receiving yards, and Jags QB Trevor Lawrence continues to look his way. He’s targeted Engram at least seven times in every single game this season outside of Week 1, and prior to their bye week, he had 10 receptions on 10 targets for 88 yards.
Along with the track record against Tennessee, we’re adding Evan Engram over 44.5 receiving yards (-115 at DraftKings Sportsbook) to our Titans vs. Jaguars player prop bets.
