2024 Mock Draft Roundup: Tennessee Titans Go Multiple Directions in Look Ahead
The Tennessee Titans sit at 4-7 and while it still remains possible that they make a playoff push, it could likely require winning all of the rest of their games. It is hard to imagine that happening considering we are entering Week 13 and they have yet to win a road game.
What is far more likely is the Titans having a top-10 pick in the 2024 NFL draft. As things stand, the Titans would have the 10th selection. So, with no further ado, let's dive into the picks.
Sports Illustrated
Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
"Offensive line is easily the biggest need here, but the Titans might not be able to resist a talent like Bowers if he's still on the board. There are plenty of ways to help out a young quarterback, and Will Levis would definitely benefit from a matchup nightmare like Bowers, who can create big plays after the catch on every target."
The Athletic
Dallas Turner, Edge, Alabama
"With Will Levis likely penciled in as the Titans’ 2024 starting quarterback, the front office can focus this offseason on building up the offensive line, adding more weapons and strengthening the defense. There are greater needs on the roster, but the pass rush has been wildly inconsistent this season (when the Titans aren’t playing the Panthers). Turner is a freak-show talent — both against the run and while rushing the passer — and continues to get better.
The 33rd Team
Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
"The Tennessee Titans‘ secondary has been an issue for most of the season and ranks 32nd in dropback EPA. Kool-Aid McKinstry would be a huge addition to a defense that desperately needs play-makers in the secondary. McKinstry is not known for taking the football away, but his sticky cover skills, size and athleticism offer premium value."
Pro Football Network
Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
"We’re still trying to figure out what Will Levis is as an NFL quarterback, but for now, we’ll assume he is the Titans’ plan for next year. Tennessee wants to live out of 12 personnel often, and putting Brock Bowers and Chigoziem Okonkwo on the field together is an easy matchup creator. The offense just needs playmakers, and there’s none better than Bowers."
If the Titans don't land high enough in the draft to select one of the top offensive tackles in Joe Alt or Olu Fashanu, they will likely be looking at one of these options if they don't want to take a lower-rated tackle. All of the moves makes sense and it will be interesting to see the draft process unfold as we get closer to April.
