Brazil started its World Cup with a 1–1 draw against Switzerland and will look to add a three-point haul when it faces Costa Rica on Friday. Neymar was battered in that match and left training on Tuesday with an ankle injury, but he's expected to suit up against Los Ticos.

Costa Rica fell to the bottom of Group E with an opening loss to Serbia. Costa Rica is looking to repeat is unlikely sucess at the 2014 World Cup, where the team reached the quarterfinals. But it needs at least a point against Brazil to have any chance of advancing to the knockout stage.
