The Spartans will look to keep Garcia in check and avenge the earlier loss to the Golden Gophers.
They do own a win over Minnesota in the first meeting as they won at home 75-66, but were shocked in the second game.
They did go on to win three straight after that loss, but have struggled since and are just 1-4 in their last five games.
They now sit at just 18-13 and despite good metrics on their resume they cannot afford a loss or they could miss the NCAA Tournament.
