Regular season champion USF takes on UAB on Saturday afternoon in the AAC Tournament semifinals. The Bulls dominated East Carolina in the quarterfinals on Friday in an 81-59 win. The win helped them bounce back from an upset loss to Tulsa in their last regular season game. The loss to the Golden Hurricane snapped a 15-game winning streak and dropped their record to 16-2 in the AAC. It was still good enough for them to claim the regular season title and get the top seed for the tournament. Saturday they will look to give themselves a chance to make the tournament finals against a Blazers team that they lost to in their only meeting of the season.

The Blazers won that game 75-71 back on January 7th. It was a close game throughout, but Yaxel Lendeborg scored a game-high 23 points to lead them to the win.
The Blazers finished the regular season at 20-11 overall and 12-6 in the AAC. That was good enough to grab the fourth seed in the tournament.
They got to the semifinals by knocking off Wichita State 72-60 in the quarterfinals on Friday.
It was a big win for the Blazers against a Shockers team that was coming off a huge win over Memphis.
