Princeton (24-3) won its third consecutive Ivy League regular-season title and takes a nine-game winning streak into Saturday's tournament semifinal matchup with No. 4 seed Brown (12-17) at Levian Gymnasium in New York. The Bears were just 2-6 in league play after a loss to the Tigers on Feb. 16 but closed the regular season with six straight victories to take the fourth and final spot in the tourney bracket. Princeton reached the Sweet Sixteen last year as a No. 15 seed but may not get back without winning the Ivy League title. Brown's last visit to the NCAA tournament came in 1986.

Princeton closed its regular season on March 9 with a 105-83 rout at Penn. Caden Pierce scored 32 points and Zach Martini added 23 as the Tigers shot a sizzling 17-of-27 (63%) from 3-point range. Xaivian Lee gets 17.7 points per game while Pierce averages 16.3 points and 9.3 rebounds.
The Bears came from 15 points down and Aaron Cooley's 3-pointer late in overtime sealed an 84-81 victory over Yale on March 9. Kino Lilly Jr. scored 26 points and Nana Owusu-Anane added 20 in the win. Lilly drops in 18.4 points per game and Owusu-Anane averages 15.0 points and 8.8 boards.
The Tigers are 113-31 all-time against Brown and have won three straight in the series. Princeton got a 70-60 road win on Feb. 3 and hung up a 72-63 victory at home on Feb. 16. The winner faces either No. 3 seed Cornell or second-seeded Yale in Sunday's championship game.
