Purdue goes for its seventh straight win on Saturday when it takes on Wisconsin in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals. The Boilermakers survived a scare from Michigan State on Friday in the quarterfinals. The Boilermakers led the Spartans by seven at halftime, but they had to survive a rally to get the win. The Spartans came all the way back and tied it with 1:46 left, but the Boilermakers outscored them by five to end the game and get the win. Saturday they will look to make it back to the tournament finals for a second straight year against a Badgers team that they beat twice this season.

The Badgers have had a resurgence in the tournament as they have knocked off Maryland and Northwestern to make the semifinals.
The Badgers finished the regular season having won just three times in the last 11 games. The slide had dropped them to 19-12 overall and 11-8 in the Big Ten.
They came into the tournament on the bubble, but may have played their way back into the tournament. A win on Saturday against the Boilermakers would almost guarantee their spot, but a loss would put them back to sweating out selection Sunday.
