The Badgers have now beat Maryland, Northwestern and the Boilermakers to make it to the finals. It has been a surprising run for a Badgers team that had lost eight of their last 11 regular season games. The Badgers were on the outside looking in on the tournament bubble but may have played their way back in. With a win on Sunday, they will secure the automatic bid for the Big Ten.

The Fighting Illini, though, are looking to stop the Badgers run and pick up the Big Ten title.
The Fighting Illini beat the Badgers in their only meeting this year 91-83 back on March 2nd.
The got to the semifinals by beating streaking Nebraska 98-87 on Saturday. It wasn't easy though, as they trailed the Cornhuskers by 11 points at halftime.
Terrance Shannon Jr. was great in the win as the scored a tournament-best 40 points to lead the Fighting Illini to the win.
