Virginia went on to beat Wake Forest 5-0 to bring their overall record to 8-5 and their conference record to 2-3. Against the Demon Deacons, the Cavaliers had four different players score with Taryn Tkachuk contributing two goals in the win. The team held Wake Forest to zero shots on goal in the victory to earn its fourth shutout of the year.

The Blue Devils are currently on an 11-game win streak to bring their overall record to 13-1 and their conference record to 5-0 for the top spot in the conference standings. The team's most recent game was played on Friday against No. 4 Louisville and resulted in a 2-1 victory at home. The Cardinals struck first with a goal in the third quarter, but the Blue Devils countered just three minutes later with a goal from Alaina McVeigh. Seven minutes after McVeigh tied things up, Logan Clouser netted the game-winner to keep the team's win streak going. Piper Hampsch made four saves in net for the Blue Devils. 

Virginia will look to pull off the upset on Sunday and avenge the loss that Duke handed the team last week.
