Georgia takes on Florida State on Saturday night in the Capital One Orange Bowl. The two teams will have to dig deep to find motivation for the game after missing out on the College Football Playoff. Both teams thought they had an argument to be included as Georgia was No. 1 for most of the season and Florida State went undefeated and won the ACC championship. The Seminoles had the biggest gripe for not making it, but an injury to star quarterback Jordan Travis was enough to keep them out. They will also be without a backup quarterback as Tate Rodemaker just recently entered the transfer portal and will not play in the game.

The Bulldogs will have their starting quarterback as Carson Beck has decided to play in the game. Beck had a very good year as he threw for 3,738 yards and 22 touchdowns in his first year as a starter for the Bulldogs.
Beck helped lead the Bulldogs to an undefeated regular season but just didn't have enough in the SEC Championship game as Georgia would fall to rival Alabama 27-24.
Despite just the one loss, it was enough to drop the Bulldogs down to No. 6 in the latest CFP rankings and kept them from having a chance to defend their back-to-back championships.
