Noah Adnan finally put Stanford on the board in the 74th minute, but it was too little, too late for the Cardinal.

The Golden Bears are currently sitting just above Stanford in the conference standings with a Pac-12 record of 3-3-3 and an overall record of 7-5-5. In its last outing, Cal played to a narrow 1-0 victory over San Diego State on Sunday. The Aztecs outshot the Bears 16-13 with five shots on goal, but they couldn't beat Connor Lambe in net who made all five saves to help the team earn its fifth shutout of the year. The lone goal of the game was scored by Adrian Guzman just before halftime and the Bears were able to hold the Aztecs off to add three points to their tally.
