How to Watch Texas at Florida State in College Softball: Stream Live, TV Channel

Two of the best teams in the country will meet on Wednesday night in college softball as Florida State and Texas meet in a non-conference matchup.

A Top 25 matchup will take place on Wednesday night as No. 18 Florida State hosts No. 2 Texas in a mid-week non-conference matchup at JoAnne Graf Field. The Seminoles come into Wednesday night's game with an overall record of 18-8 and a record of 1-2 so far in ACC play. The team opened up conference play over the weekend with a series against Duke. The Blue Devils took the first game in a 10-5 victory, but the Seminoles bounce back to win the second 4-2. In the series finale, the game went into extra innings with Duke winning 9-5. Kaley Mudge and Michaela Edenfield each recorded three hits in the loss with Edenfield bringing in two runs on her two doubles. Ashtyn Danley was credited with the loss after pitching 3.1 innings and giving up four earned runs.

The Longhorns bring a three-game win streak into Wednesday's game with an overall record of 24-3 and a conference record of 5-1 so far. The team's three wins over the weekend came against Big 12 foe BYU in which the Longhorns outscored them 30-3. The series finale resulted in a big five inning, 10-0 victory. Kayden Henry led the offense, going 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs. Citlaly Gutierrez moved to 4-0 on the season with the win in the circle after pitching a complete game and striking out two batters. 

The last time Florida State and Texas met dates back to the 2022 season and Florida State earned a 9-2 victory.
