This is the second matchup between these two Northern California rivals and Cal will be looking for revenge. These two played back at the end of Sept. when Stanford ended up winning 13-12 to hand Cal its first and only loss of the season. This is the final game before the MPSF Tournament in Los Angeles next week. Both teams are looking to finish the regular season on a high note to hit the tournament running.

Stanford is coming off just its third loss of the season when they lost to USC on the road 19-14. No. 5 Stanford pulled away early scoring four straight goals to take a 6-3 lead to start the second period but it was tied 8-8 at the half and the Cardinal couldn't keep up their offensive pace.
The Golden Bears haven't lost since their matchup against Stanford winning eight matches in a row. Cal is coming off a very impressive 17-4 win against San Jose State. The Bears got up to a 7-0 run to start the game and held the Spartans scoreless for nearly 10 minutes. It was a true team effort as 12 different players scored for Cal. This is going to be very tough for Stanford to knock of Cal twice this season.
