The Trojans had a bye in the first round and then beat Princeton and UCLA in the semifinals to get to the championship. In its biggest rivalry against the Bruins, USC won 15-12 on Saturday. The Trojans won more comfortably than the score advertised, as they were up six at one point. Massimo Di Martire was the biggest contributor for USC. Di Martire had three goals in the third quarter alone, scoring a total of five. The Trojans are going to need another big day from their driver if USC is going to get revenge.
Cal only played one team to get to this championship, beating Pacific in the semifinals. Cal won 16-9 in a rainy day from the Spieker Aquatics Complex. Last year's championship win was its 15th title. That is the most of any men's team. Can the Golden Bears add to their dominance once again tonight?
