No. 1 Stanford will look to remain perfect on Sunday as the Cardinal hosts Santa Clara in a non-conference game in women's college water polo action.

On Sunday afternoon, No. 1 Stanford will host Santa Clara in the pool for a non-conference matchup. The Broncos come into Sunday's contest with an overall record of 8-16 and a conference record of 0-5. The team's most recent game resulted in a 16-6 loss to No. 11 UC Davis on Saturday. Lauren Baglietto got the Broncos on the board with an exclusion goal just two minutes into the game, but the team could not hold the lead. Santa Clara also had single goals from Baglietto, Elle Fredrickson, Kate Rodman, Sydney Maccabe, Lauren Voss and Sophia Harvey. Georgia Lewis made 10 saves in goal for the Broncos.

The Cardinal has had a phenomenal season so far and are still undefeated at 15-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play. Last weekend, Stanford took on No. 15 Arizona State and picked up a big 19-6 victory. Aria Fischer scored a career-high eight goals, including the 200th of her career, to lead the Cardinal offensively. Maya Avital started and played the third three periods, making four saves. Jackie King contributed four stops in the final quarter.

When these two teams met last season, Stanford swam away with a 17-3 victory.
