How to Watch Las Vegas Grand Prix, Qualifying: Stream Formula 1 Live, TV Channel
It's late night on The Strip in Las Vegas for Formula 1, with qualifying set to begin at midnight on Saturday morning. The drivers got their first two live looks at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit in practices that began late Thursday and finished in the wee hours Friday morning and got one more session to set up their cars earlier on Friday night. Ferrari's duo of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz topped the field in the first two practices, with Leclerc clipping his teammate by 0.517 seconds for the best time. Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin, coming off a podium finish two weeks ago in São Paulo, was just 0.528 seconds off the top time.

Max Verstappen, who has a five-race winning streak working, was sixth in FP2, behind Red Bull teammate Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas of Alfa Romeo. Mercedes had a rough first day of practice with Lewis Hamilton finishing ninth and George Russell 12th. But both drivers praised the new circuit afterward.
The course is 3.853 miles around the famed Las Vegas Strip. Loosely modeled on the circuit at Monza, speeds are expected to be high with lots of wheel-to-wheel action and overtaking to be had. The route takes drivers by iconic Vegas locations such as Caesars Palace, the Bellagio and the Venetian.
The addition of the Las Vegas Grand Prix marks the first time since 1982 that Formula 1 has staged three races in the U.S. Grands prix were previously held this year in Miami and at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
