The final day of the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix will take place Sunday afternoon as the drivers take to the streets of the Motor City. According to the event's website, the Grand Prix will provide unprecedented access with more than half of the event’s footprint taking place along Jefferson Avenue and the beautiful Detroit Riverfront which will be open to the public, free of charge. The Detroit Grand Prix began as a Formula One race on the streets of the Motor City in 1982. Formula One raced annually in Detroit from 1982-1988. The race moved to Belle Isle for several years before its return to Detroit in 2023.

Pato O'Ward currently sits atop the leaderboard after his practice runs on the relatively short downtown Detroit course. O'Ward is joined in the top three by fellow Arrow McLaren teammate, Alexander Rossi, in third place. Scott Dixon of Chip Ganassi Racing holds the second place position and will look to move into the top spot on the final day of racing in his Honda.
