Indiana is without Tyrese Haliburton due to an injury, but still has the talent to outscore anyone. Utah struggled with injuries early in the season, but has thrived since the return of Lauri Markkanen. Either way, both of these squads have been better than expected at this point in the season and are two of the fastest rising young teams in the NBA. The Jazz and Pacers both have what it takes to make the postseason and potentially make a splash at the trade deadline to improve further.
Following this contest, the Jazz will host the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday evening. Meanwhile, the Pacers don't play again until Thursday in a road game against the Sacramento Kings.
