The Dallas Mavericks have no time to wallow when they travel to take on the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night. Dallas is trying to avoid a season-series sweep against the raptors and losing three games in a row tonight. The Raptors won the first game in early November against the Mavs. This is the finale between these two and Dallas are slight 2.5 point favorites on the road. Dallas is coming off a crushing defeat on Tuesday losing 121-119 to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs were up by one with less than 10 seconds to go. Dallas nearly had the ball stripped away but Luka Doncic recovered an assisted P.J. Washington for the go-ahead bucket to lead by one with just a couple ticks left. Cleveland got the ball back but were out of timeouts but that was no issue for Max Strus. He inbounded the ball but was immediately passed back to him and then the unbelievable ensued. Strus hit a miracle 59-footer from behind half-court to win the game. It was a tough loss to swallow but shouldn't overshadow Doncic's impressive night with the superstar scoring 45.

It is the first time Toronto has won three straight this season. Scottie Barnes had a great game securing his fourth triple-double of the season and RJ Barrett led the charge for the Raptors with 24. Can they keep their longest winning streak rolling?
