Palm Springs, California is playing host to one of the biggest events on the PPA Tour this season in The Masters. There has been action in all three doubles and two singles divisions this week working from the fields of 64 down to the quarterfinals today. In action today are 12 quarterfinals matchups in women’s doubles, men’s doubles and mixed doubles, which feature the best teams in pickleball in the world. Anna Leigh Waters and Catherine Parenteau are two of the players who will be teaming together in one doubles bracket and then potentially facing off against each other in the mixed doubles bracket down the line.

Leigh Waters and Pareteau are teammates in women’s doubles, but then team with Benjamin Johns and Jack Sock respectively in mixed doubles with the potential to meet in the finals.
They take on Lea Jansen and Tyra Black in their quarterfinals matchup. They will face the winner of Meghan Dizon and Marietta Wright who face Jackie Kawamoto and Jade Kawamoto in the top half of the women’s bracket. Also in the women’s bracket are the teams of Lucia Kovalova and Callie Smith, Jorja Johnson and Tina Pisnik, Anna Bright and Rachel Rohrabacher, and Lauren Stratman and Allyce Jones.
Over in the men’s doubles bracket Benjamin and Collin Johns take on Tyson McGuffin and Dekel Bar, James Ignatowich and Matt Wright face Federico Staksrud and Pablo Tellez, Dylan Frazier and James Johnson challenge Patrick Smith and Jay Devilliers, and Riley Newman and Thomas Wilson take the court with Julian Arnold and Christian Alshon.
