Tennessee-Georgia Leads Into World Series Game 6
It’s a Saturday full of big games as No. 2 Tennesse aims to take down top-ranked Georgia. And, tonight, the Astros will try to close out the Phillies to win the World Series. There are other big-time college football games worth checking out, too, along with the MLS Cup Final.
Here’s what I’m watching.
MUST WATCH:
College football: No. 2 Tennessee at No. 1 Georgia
It’s the upstart versus the defending national champs. It’s the country’s most explosive offense versus a defense known for shutting down anything in its path. No. 2 Tennesee can climb back to the very top of the college football landscape with a win today, which would give them victories over top-ranked Georgia and Alabama this season.

HIDDEN GEM:
MLS Cup Final: Philadelphia Union at LAFC
Between all the football, keep your eye on the MLS Cup Final. These two clubs were the two best during the regular season and have been on a collision course during the playoffs. Aside from the big name players LAFC boasts in Gareth Bale, Giorgio Chiellini and Carlos Vela, they are powered by a deep squad featuring midfielder Kellyn Acosta of the U.S. men’s national team, forward Cristian Arango and defender Jesús Murillo. They’ll host a Union team that has enjoyed a massive turnaround under manager Jim Curtin, who took over the role in June 2014. The club has not finished worse than third in the Eastern Conference since 2018 but will be playing in its first MLS Cup Final.
