Buffalo Bills at New York Jets

The Bills have looked like the most complete team in the NFL this season. But while the Jets haven’t looked as complete, they still sport a surprising 5–3 record on the season. Their defense has improved, due in part to the play of rookie defensive back Sauce Gardner, who will have his hands full with Buffalo’s pass-catching options today.

HIDDEN GEM:

NASCAR Cup Series Championship

Last week’s race featured one of the wildest moments we’ve seen in racing. Here’s how my colleague Dan Gartland explained it in Monday’s edition of the SI:AM newsletter.

“And so [Ross] Chastain made a big move. The biggest move. He floored the accelerator and turned into the wall, pinballing around the final two turns 70 mph faster than everybody else and going from 10th place to fifth. He passed Hamlin and earned a spot in the final four.”

Chastain will join Joey Logano, Chase Elliott and Christopher Bell at Phoenix Raceway.
